Note: this app does not also appear in Finder anymore but appears on the the Launchpad.
Kindly follow these steps to have it removed.
Note: You have to be logged in as an Administrator of the device.
- Open Launchpad.
- Click and hold on an icon until you see all icons jiggle. In this case i will be uninstalling GoToMeeting App.
- Click the “x” button in the upper-left of you want to delete as shown below.

Note: If you do not see an “x” button, either the app is not from the Mac App Store or you are not logged in as an Administrator.
- Finally, delete the app and click “Delete” in the confirmation dialog box.
Note: You can also do this from the command line, but why do you want to complicate line with this simple task ;)(remove an icon from launchpad that has been deleted)
