A lock screen is an interface used by various operating systems to grant immediate access to a device by requiring the user to perform a certain action in order to receive access. Such as entering a password, using a certain button combination, or performing a certain gesture using a device’s touchscreen. In this article, I will show you how to disable Lock Screen on Windows 10 via Group Policy and Windows registry.
You can disable Windows 10 lock screen using 2 methods: Group Policy and Registry. How to disable Lock Screen on Windows 10 via Group Policy
When your PC awakes from sleep mode, you may still see the login screen. First of all, Open RUN like before. Type gpedit.msc and press enter. It will open windows Group Policy Editor.
Go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Control Panel and -> Personalisation. Right-click the policy setting Do not display the lock screen and click Edit. Click Enabled to enable this policy setting. Click Apply and OK.
The Do not Display lock screen policy is enabled. Restart your Windows 10 computer and you will not see a lock screen anymore. You can directly log in to your Windows 10 computer.
Press ok, and Run gpupdate /force. Alternatively, you can sign out and sign in again to have the policy applied.

Disable Lock Screen using Windows Registry
This approach will disable Windows 10 lock screen using Windows Registry. Please take a backup of your registry before performing any changes. On your Windows 10 computer, click Start and run the command regedit. Browse the following registry path below
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsRight-click the Windows key folder, select the New submenu and choose the Key option.
Name the key Personalization and press Enter. Next, right-click the Personalization folder, select the New submenu, and choose the DWORD (32-bit) value option. If you would like to disable the screen lock after a period of user inactivity, please see this link.
Enter the name as NoLockScreen and set the value to 1. Upon making these changes, close the registry editor and restart your device.
