Microsoft Edge is a cross-platform web browser developed by Microsoft. It was first released for Windows 10 and Xbox One in 2015, then for Android and iOS in 2017, for macOS in 2019, and as a preview for Linux in October 2020. Configuring the Group Policies
Microsoft Edge loads the default New Tab page by default. Enabling this policy lets you set a New Tab page URL in Microsoft Edge, preventing users from changing it.
Note: After enabling this policy and you disable the “Allow web content” on the New Tab page policy. Microsoft Edge ignores any URL specified in this policy and opens about:blank. Below are the steps to have this done.
Open the Group Policy management tool or the Local Group Policy Editor. Then navigate to the following path to configure this.
After setting up this configuration and applying the policy, if you open a new tab, the URL load automatically. You can find more information on this page.
