You can change the icon associated with a program or file shortcut in windows. Below are the steps to achieve this.
- Right-click on the desktop icon as shown below
- Select Properties

Click on the change icon

This will open the change Icon wizard, and select your desired icon or browse to a different location and select an icon.

– hit ok
– Apply the changes, or
– Click on ok on the fly as shown below.

Now the Fast User Switching Icon has changed.
