How to Change the Lock Screen Wallpaper in Windows 11

Windows 11 has a lock screen similar to Windows 10, and the wallpaper can be changed. This is not to be confused with the sign-in screen, where you enter your password or PIN to gain access to the desktop. The first screen displays the time, app information, and wallpaper. Change the Wallpaper on the Windows 11 Lock Screen
To change the lock screen wallpaper, go to the Start menu and select Settings. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Windows key + I to open Settings directly.
When Settings appears, select Personalization from the left-hand menu. Then, from the right-hand menu, select the Lock Screen option from the “Personalization” section.
Personalize your lock screen
Now, in the Personalize - > Lock screen section, select the “Personalize your lock screen” dropdown menu. There are three options available to you.
Windows Spotlight: Windows sets images automatically. Please see How to disable Lock Screen on Windows 10.
Picture: You can use this to select an image from Microsoft or a photo from your collection. You simply need to navigate to it and set it as your lock screen wallpaper.
Slideshow: Select a folder containing photos and other images, and they will rotate through at regular intervals.
Once you’ve decided on an image for the lock screen, you may want to change which apps show notifications. To do so, select an app from the menu next to “Lock screen status.” It’s worth noting that you can select none if you don’t want anything to appear.
When you press Enter on your keyboard, click your mouse, or swipe up on a touchscreen device, you are taken to the login screen. When you change the Lock Screen wallpaper, it also changes the login screen. You can, however, disable it.
Turn off the “Show the lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen” button while you’re in the Personalize > Lock screen section.
