How to add an OpenVZ template on Proxmox Server

OpenVZ is an operating-system-level virtualization technology for Linux. It allows a physical server to run multiple isolated operating system instances, called containers, virtual private servers, or virtual environments. OpenVZ is similar to Solaris Containers and LXC.

Here are the steps in adding an OpenVZ template on Proxmox Server

- Expand the datacenter Cluster
- Expand the host Node
- Click on the local storage (local PvE) as it relates to you!
- Navigate to the right pane and select content
Under content
- Select Template
- From the Template, view select the recent download of your Linux distribution
- Click on downloads
