Delete a VM on Hyper V
For this test, I have gone ahead to delete my Windows 11 Client PC as shown below.

Perform Entire VM recovery with Veeam Backup and Replication
Launch the Veeam Backup and Replication Console. Navigate to Home and under Backups, click on Disk. Right-click the backup of the deleted VM, and select “Restore entire VM”.
Please chose your desired restore point by clicking on “Point” on the wizard below.
Veeam displays available restore points that you can choose from. Select the most recent healthy backup before the deletion as it is in my case.

Restore to Original Location
Assume that this is an important production VM that was accidentally deleted. Panic? Not necessary anymore as Veeam steps in to restore order in minutes with Entire VM Restore.
You have two main recovery paths, “Restore to Original Location” which recreate the VM exactly where it was. Alternatively, you can restore to a New Location with different settings if you wish on a different host.
Since I am interested in restoring to the original location in this guide. I will select the option and click on next.
Not interested in scanning at this time.
Enter a reason for restoration if you want and click next.
This warning message can be safely ignored. As the original VM does not exist by clicking on OK. Therefore, the associated hard disks will be also removed from the infrastructure.

On the summary page, click to power on VM after restoring and click on Finish.

VM Restore
As you can see, the recovery is in progress and you can safely close this window. But if you wish to be follow every recovery details, you can leave it open.
Note that even when the window is closed, you can always reopen it.
The restore with Veeam backup and replication has completed successfully.
As you can see, the VM has been restored to the Hyper-V environment. Now, we can access the VM.
Conclusion
