Perform Web Application testing with Scandium
1. Visit the Scandium website and create an account or request for a demo.

2. Enter your credentials, and log in to your dashboard.

Adding New Project
3. On your dashboard navigate and click Default menu from the drop-down click on Add New Project.

4. Create a new project and enter all information like the Name of Project, Description of Project, Purpose of Project and Project type whether its Web or Mobile.

Creating New Test
5. After the project is successfully created. Click on Create new test or New Test.

6. You will need to Install Scandium Browser Extension on your Chrome Browser.

7. Click Install and Add to Chrome.

8. Input the URL of the web application you want to test and click on Record.

9. Scandium opens a new window; you should interact with the web app, perform actions like logging in or placing an order. Save the test configuration.

Check for FAIL or PASS
10. Click on Stop Recording, you will be redirected to your Scandium dashboard where you will see all your interactions.
Then click on the Run button to replay your test on another pop-up browser and check the dashboard for results which could be Failed or Passed.

11. There are some times you will get a failed test, just click on the expand options icon (+) and click on the open steps settings icon.

12. Check and analyze what went wrong in that test step. Click on See error link. Click on the Results tab to compare results with the baseline (initial test taken).

Once you save the test configuration you can run it anytime you want to conduct a test and you will not need to carry out a repeated steps again via the manual process.
