MiniTool Partition Wizard is a sought-after and powerful utility tool for managing disk partitions, cloning disks, recovering lost data, and optimizing storage. This tool can optimize hard disks and SSDs with a comprehensive set of operations. This is a Review of MiniTool Partition Wizard Pro Edition, I will be showing you different features and how to use it to perform different tasks. Aside from hard drive repartition, this tool can help to quickly recover lost partitions and files, when you are converting file systems, converting hard drives between MBR and GPT, or converting dynamic disk to basic.

3. After installing the tool, open it and navigate to the top right corner, and click Register.

4. Enter your Pro edition license code to activate MiniTool Partition Wizard. Click Register. This will unlock all the functions of this tool.

1. Migrate OS to SSD/HD

There are two options you can select from to migrate your OS

1: I would like to replace my system disk with another hard disk.
2: I would like to copy my operating system to another hard disk and keep the original disk in my computer.

Click Next and select Source Disk where you have the OS and click Next to select the Destination Disk.

Note: The OS will be migrated to the specified destination disk and during migration the content will be deleted.

2. Copy Partition Wizard

You can copy the partition from one location to another. The Source device must be a partition.

The Destination device must be an unallocated space. Click Next to start copying.

3. Copy Disk Wizard

This feature will help you to create a copy of the hard disk. Select the disk to copy and the partitions will be copied to the destination disk selected on the next page. Note that the target disk content will be deleted.

4. Partition Recovery Wizard

This feature will help you to recover lost or deleted partitions. Select Disk for recovery and click Next.

On the Scanning Range Settings select the scanning range options.

On the Scanning Method Settings select your scanning method and click Next to start scanning.

5. Create New Partition

Create a new Partition for an Unallocated Disk.

  • Enter Partition Label
  • Select File System
  • Select Create As
  • Select Drive Letter
  • Select Cluster Size

7. Changing Partition

You can Move/Resize, Extend and Merge Partition

Enter the new Partition Size. Always remember to back up your data before moving or resizing a partition.

8. Merge Partition

The first selected Partition will be merged with the second partition while the content of the second partition will be placed in a folder inside the resulting partition.

Note: When merging it is possible to select only NTFS partitions. if you would like to merge a FAT partition use the convert FAT to NTFS function to convert it to NTFS first.

9. Data Recovery

You can select a location to start recovering. It can be a Logical Drive or Devices.

After selecting the location it will start scanning and you can export the scan result.

11. Space Analyzer

This feature will help analyze the disk space available by scanning all files. You can delete redundant files to create more space.
