When you attempt to connect to a Hive Server with Kerberos authentication, the following error might occur (GSSAPI Error: Unspecified GSS failure, minor code may provide more information Clock skew too great when Connecting to Hive Server). This error is as a result of the local system clock is out of sync with the Key Distribution Center (KDC). To resolve this issue, follow the recommendation below.

Solution: Ensure that the local system time matches the clock time of the Kerberos Key Distribution Center.
