From the policy Manager,
– Click on File
– Click on Restore.
– From the Restore dialog box
– Enter the Administrator User Name and Passphrase
This step may include other steps for Authentication as defined by your administrator.
– And click OK.
– Here enter the encryption key you used when creating the backup image.
Now the XTM device restores the backup image and the XTM will restart and uses the backup image.
Select the location and file name of the saved backup image file created for this device.
– Click OK and ensure to wait a little while before connecting once again.
Note: Never restore a backup image created from a different XTM device. Each backup image is unique to a single device; it includes the serial number, certificates, and private keys for that device.
