Integrating Pleasant Password Server (PPS) with AD allows you to manage user access while leveraging your existing AD infrastructure for authentication. This integration simplifies user management and enhances security by centralizing user credentials and permissions. In this article, we shall discuss how to Integrate Pleasant Password Server with Active Directory. Integrate Pleasant Password Server with Active Directory

Note: This process simply allows AD users to be imported to the server and use the Password Server.

Below are the steps needed to integrate with Active Directory. To do this, log in to the Pleasant Password Server Admin Panel using an account with administrative privileges.

Click on User and Roles. From the Dropdown list, and select Active Directory / LDAP

Click on Add New Active Directory. This will prompt the next window windows shown below.

Fill in the needed parameters as shown below and test the connection.

Here is a screenshot of the configured parameters for this environment needed to integrate AD with the Password Serve.
