Telegram is a cross-platform, cloud-based instant messaging system. The service also provides end-to-end encrypted video calling, VoIP, file sharing, and several other features. delivers messages faster than any other application. Telegram has no limits on the size of your media and chats. It is also worth mentioning that Telegram has an open API and source code free for everyone. Please see how to use AWS CodeCommit, Azure DevOps and GitHub integration for Docker and Kubernetes deployment, and how to build your first CI/CD Pipeline in Azure DevOps using ASP.Net Core Application.

Also, groups can hold up to 200,000 members and their messages are heavily encrypted and can self-destruct.

Telegram is one of the growing messenger apps that is incredibly fast, and powerful. It has an open API that allows anyone to hook up their own apps with Telegram. In this article, we will show you how to integrate your WordPress site with Telegram.

Below are some related guides: How to install and configure Jitsi video conferencing server on Ubuntu, and how to install Mattermost on Ubuntu and Debian. In this article, you will learn how to integrate a WordPress site with WP Telegram.

Why use Telegram with WordPress?

Telegram is a communication app and its Slack-like features are making it quite popular among developers and remote teams that rely heavily on online communication tools.

It also enables you to send notifications from your WordPress site to your Telegram group, channel, or profile. You can create private groups for your team for collaboration and communication.

How to integrate Telegram with WordPress

You will need to navigate to the plugin section as shown in the image below. Click on Add New.
– Search for the Plugin name “Telegram for WP” and click on Install Now.
– Note: You can also download this plugin and upload it, but we are not using this method.

Create a /newbot

Before doing this, we will have to access the Telegram Desktop App. This can be downloaded from the following link if you do not already have it.

I do not have it previously, therefore I will be installing it by clicking on the downloaded tsetup.dmg file.
– Ensure you drag the Telegram App to the Applications folder. See how to install Zoom on macOS Big Sur, Mojave, Catalina, High Sierra, and Capitan.

Next, access the Telegram Apps via the Launchpad or search for it as you wish. Click on start messaging as shown below.
