VMware vCenter Converter Standalone enables the automation of creating VMware virtual machines from physical machines (running Windows and Linux) and other virtual machine formats etc. Through the intuitive wizard-driven interface and a centralized management console. VMware Converter Standalone can quickly and reliably convert multiple local and remote physical machines without any disruptions or downtime. Resolve “vCenter Standalone Server is not running, and cannot contact the local server”

Launch the Services Manager as shown below by clicking on Start > Run, type services.msc, and click OK.

The Services window will be opened.

Right-click the VMware VirtualCenter Server service and click on start. Or select the service and click on Start as shown below
