Resolve “vCenter Standalone Server is not running, and cannot contact the local server”

Launch the Services Manager as shown below by clicking on Start > Run, type services.msc, and click OK.

The Services window will be opened.

Right-click the VMware VirtualCenter Server service and click on start. Or select the service and click on Start as shown below
