Trend Micro WorryFree Business Security Server Setup

Trend Micro WorryFree Business Security protects physical and virtualized endpoints in small organizations (typically 2 to 100 users) from malware, data loss, and web threats. Below are the steps in setting up Trend Micro WorryFree Business Security Server Version 9.0 SP1.

1. Provision a new VM or set up a dedicated server.

  • See Setup prerequisite
  • Sysprep and configure networking, domain join, etc. when using a cloned VM, etc.

2. Install Trend Micro WorryFree Business Security Server Service Pack

Install Micro Worry-Free Security Server SP1, 2 or 3 setup by downloading the setup from TrendMicro Site.

3. Web Console Requirements

Prerequisites:

  • Web browser
  • Adobe™ Acrobat™ Reader 6.0 and above

Note: The Security Server hosts the web console,

Trend Micro WorryFree Business: Opening the Web Console

On the computer that hosts the Security Server, and click on the Windows Start menu
– Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security > Worry-Free Business Security.
– On any client on the network, open a web browser and type the following in the address bar:

https://{Security_Server_Name or IP Address}:{portnumber}/SMB

https://IPAddress:4343/SMB
http://IPAddress:8059/SMB

For Example: If you are NOT using SSL, type HTTP instead of HTTPS. The default port for HTTP connections is 8059 and for HTTPS connections is 4343.

Next, Reset the password to your desired

Other ways to open the web console: On the computer that hosts the Security Server, go to the Desktop and click the Worry-Free Business Security shortcut you have created.
