In this article, I will show you how to Remove Expired Configuration Profiles on Mac. However, be aware that removing a profile will remove all settings associated therein. If the profile was used to configure your wireless connection etc. It will remove the settings as well, and you will no longer have access to those services. On macOS, a configuration profile is an XML file that contains settings to manage Wi-Fi, email accounts, passcode options, and many other functions of iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Mac devices.

Remove Outdated Configuration Profiles on Mac

To remove a configuration profile in macOS, please follow the steps below. Alternatively, you can access system preferences from the LuanchPad or if you have it attached to the dock of your device.

From the Apple menu, select System Preferences, and from the View menu in System Preferences. Select Profiles as shown below.

Select the profile you want to remove. Press the – (minus) button to enable the removal of the outdated profile.

Enter your password to enable the profile removal.

On the prompt, “Are you sure you want to remove the profile”? Click on Remove.

Remove iMoview Profile
