
The steps below are ways to find out what build, edition and version of Windows 10 you are running. We are absolutely aware most people refer to Windows systems based on its major and version they are running,

Winver Command:
The Windows version and build can be determined using the winver tool. Here are the steps to gather this information.
- Click on run and
- winver and click on
- Click on Ok

This will display the About Windows containing the Windows 10 build, version, and Edition as shown below.

Alternatively, you can search via the window search button
– Type winver

And this will display the “About Windows” as well showing the edition, version and build as well.
Settings App: This can also be determined also via the settings App.
– Click on the windows menu and click on settings as shown below.

Or, Simply launch the Windows+I to open Settings

Next, Click on Systems on the Top left
– Click on About and scroll down to the Windows specification session.
