How to configure favorites on Microsoft Edge via Group Policy

Here I will be configuring the favorite page for via the Local Group Policy. These steps are similar to setting the favorites via the Domain-wide Group Policy Management console.

Configuring Favorites via local group policies has two configuration options that can be configured as it relates to you.

For Computer Configuration:
– Administrative Template
– Windows Components
– Microsoft Edge

For User Settings
– Administrative Template
– Windows Components
– Microsoft Edge

As the case may apply to you, you can choose any of the following paths above. For me, I will select the Computer Settings and proceed with the configuration as shown below.

Enter the URL in the value name and enable it.

Note: This can be achieved via the Registry settings and Microsoft Edge Settings. If you require further assistance, kindly let me know in the comment section below.

See this guide for a list of all available Group Policies (GPO) to configure Microsoft Edge Settings.

I hope you found this blog post helpful. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comment session.
