Error 0x204: Unable to Connect to Remote PC [Part 2]

The Windows Remote Desktop Connection tool gives users the ability to connect to a remote Windows PC or server. In this article, we shall discuss how to fix “We could not connect to the remote PC with error code 0x204 and make sure the PC is turned on and connected to the network [Part 2]”. You may want to see this issue “Error code 0x4, Session disconnected: Your session ended because of an error, if this keeps happening, contact your system administrator for assistance“. We have before discussed some common errors. So, in order not to make the post lengthy, I have decided to break it into a different part. Read part 1 on How to resolve: We could not connect to the remote PC here. If you experience Error 0x204: Unable to Connect to Remote PC, you might find this helpful.

Recommendation for Error 0x204: Unable to Connect to Remote PC

Before proceeding with your device troubleshooting. As you can see from the error message below, ensure the device is truly turned on when facing Error 0x204.

After switching the device on, now I am able to connect to connect remotely as shown below

You are connecting to RDP host

If the device is truly turned on, then you can follow up with other recommendation (suggestions).
