Hiding subscriber count

To maintain a sense of privacy and control over your channel’s visibility, you have the option to hide your YouTube subscriber count. Subscribers are individuals who have chosen to follow your channel, and when you release new content, it appears in their feeds. This dynamic encourages increased viewership of your videos. Your most recent subscribers can be accessed via the channel dashboard, offering you insights into your channel’s growth. Please see How to hold comments for review on YouTube, and Linux Shell Script: Count Lines and Words in a File.

If you want to maintain some privacy regarding your channel’s popularity, you have the option to Hide YouTube subscriber count. Over time, you can monitor your subscriber count through YouTube Studio. You’ll also be able to keep track of the list of subscribers to your YouTube channel from your channel dashboard. This way, you’ll have access to the complete subscriber list.

You have the flexibility to decide whether your subscriptions are private or public. By default, all settings are configured as private. It’s important to note that there are various third-party applications available that allow you to track real-time analytics for your YouTube channel.

Set YouTube subscription to Public

When you set subscriptions to public, other users can view your subscribed channels on your homepage. Your channel homepage lists subscriptions. Channels you subscribe to include your account in their Subscribers List.

To do this, sign in to YouTube as well. In the top right, click your profile picture.
