Microsoft Teams have evolved through the years and was launched in November 2016 as part of the Office 365 productivity suite, now Microsoft 365. Teams have set its self apart from other competitors because you can use the platform as a hub to access the Microsoft 365 suite. Schedule a Meeting with Teams
To schedule a meeting with Microsoft Teams is very straightforward. Launch Microsoft Teams via the LaunchPad etc.
When Teams is fired up, navigate to Calendar as shown below. Next, click on “New meeting“.

Give your meeting a title. Decide on a date and time. Please do not forget to add any additional details as you wish, and click save.
Note: When you add a channel, all members of that channel are able to join the meeting. Also, all resources shared and any recordings taken during the meeting are saved in the channel.

Note: To make a recurring meeting, select the Does not repeat dropdown button as shown above. Then, choose whether you want the meeting to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, or customize a cadence.

Join Meeting
Joining a meeting via Teams is also very straightforward. Oftentimes, the icon to join a meeting will be prompted.
If this is not the case for you, navigate to Calendar, select the meeting and join.

Join Team Meeting Online
You could also join with a Team meeting online via the meeting ID and passcode. Joining Teams meeting online does not require the browser without using the App.

Teams also synchronize with Outlook calendars, giving users the ability to easily schedule and set up meetings.
