How to set up Confluence Site and Spaces in Confluence Cloud

Confluence Cloud is a tool for creating, organizing, and sharing work with AI by your side. It helps you plan projects, take notes, brainstorm, connect all your work, and protect information with permission settings. In this article, we shall discuss how to set up Confluence Site and Spaces in Confluence Cloud. Create Confluence Cloud Space
To create your confluence Site and Spaces. You have to sign up for a free trial of Confluence Cloud.
I will be signing up using an email as shown below.
Enter your email and full name as shown below and click the Agree button.
In the next window, you will be requested to invite your teammates. You can also check the button to enable your teammates to have others invited. Click continue to proceed.
Now, that you have successfully created your Confluence Cloud Site. Please proceed with the setup.
Follow through with the Workspace creation for your team. When prompted, enter what the Team does.
Enter the role as well.

Create Confluence Space
Confluence sites are organized into spaces. Spaces are collections of related pages that you and other people in your team or organization work on together. Most organizations use a mix of team spaces, software project spaces, documentation spaces, and knowledge base spaces:
Note: Numerous spaces can be created at a later time as well.
On the fly, you will be prompted to create a Space.
Confluence Site and Space creation is complete. You can click on Close or “Go to Confluence” as shown below.

Note: You will also get an email notification that Confluence has been set up.

Accept Confleunce Invite
Remember we invited a user above when setting up the Confluence Site?
Below is the email notification the user got when he was invited.
Click on “Accept”Join the team”.
Access Confluence Cloud Site
To do this, enter the URL on a web browser as shown below. You can further customize your site.
Confluence can be customized to fit any department or project thereby bringing everyone together in one place with Confluence.
As mentioned above, to create additional spaces, navigate to your Confluence site and follow the steps below.
From the home screen, select Create Space. Select the type of space you’d like to create.

Fill in the Space name, Space key, and other details. Set permissions for your space, and click Create.
