A Print Server is a server that connects printers to the network. This is the single source of printing for all the workstations in a network. It helps to share a specific printer or multiple printers with users on the network. In this guide, I will be showing you How to set up a Print Server on Windows Servers and you can further read more educative guides on printers: How can you Add a Printer Using an IP Address in Windows 11, and “Hide Windows Updates: How to Hide or Fix HP Printer Windows Updates Error 0x800f020b“.

A Print Server is used within a business network to streamline printing resources and cut costs. Just imagine the cost that will be expended if a separate printer is deployed for each workstation in a network.

It helps provide a way to manage and control printing operations in a network and it’s what every organisation should explore when learning how to set it up on Windows Servers. Below is a YouTube video showing the steps on how to setup a Print Server on Windows Servers.
