How to clear cookies history and cache in Safari

Managing and clearing your cache and cookies depends on the device and browser you use. Here are the steps to clear the cache, history and cookies on your macOS device. It is worth noting that, when the button in the menu bar that is labelled “Clear History” is run, this will also clear the cookies and cache. Clear Cache, History and Cookies
To clear cache, history and cookies in Safari, ensure that Safari is open.
On the menu bar (top left of your screen), click on History as shown below. At the bottom of the menu, choose Clear History

Use the drop-down menu to pick what timeframe you want to clear history and cookies

From the drop-down menu, the following options are available

After your desired selection, click on Clear History as shown above.
Remove Cookies Only
To remove cookies alone, follow the following steps below. Ensure that Safari is open.

Select “Preferences” from the dropdown Safari menu, and this will open the Tabs below, Select Privacy

Click on “Manage Website Data.” and the following opens up. Here you can choose to remove all at once or remove individual cookies (tracking your web browser).

Click on Remove All as shown above (This is how i wish to go about it 🙂 )
Next, a warning window will be prompted asking if you are sure you would like to remove the data stored on your computer

Since I am sure of the operation, I will go ahead and select “Remove Now”

Removing Cache Only
The hidden Safari Developer menu can be used to clear just the cache, leaving cookies and the browser history in place.
To remove cache alone, follow the following steps below. Ensure Safari is opened.
Note: The Developer menu can be activated by selecting Safari Preferences, click on the Advanced icon.
Click the box to Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar as shown below.

As you can see “Develop” menu is now available on the Menu bar.
Now click on the Develop menu and select Empty Caches as shown below.
