For some reason, you must have disabled Siri while doing some troubleshooting on your Mac device. In this guide, I will be showing you how to enable Siri on Mac devices. This involves showing the steps to disable and re-enable Siri on macOS. Siri is a voice-controlled personal assistant available on various Apple devices. Siri can perform tasks like managing schedules, answering questions, and controlling smart home devices.

As you can see below, you can disable and delete Siri when it is no longer of use to you.

Disable Siri on macOS

To enable Siri on your Mac, follow the steps below. Also, see How to start an application automatically on Mac.

Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen or launch System Preference and select Apple ID as shown below.

Select iCloud. On the right pane of the window. Please uncheck the button close to Siri to disable Siri on macOS.

Enable Siri on Mac

To enable Siri on Mac, you would follow the same process as above. This time, tick the box next to “Siri” to enable it.

As you can see, Siri is available again on your system.

To enable Ask Siri, launch Siri from the System Preference and select the button close to it. If you also want Siri to be available on the menu bar, check the button close to it.
