Outlook allows you to share your calendar with others by granting varying degrees of access to each of them, and this article will walk you through the process in both the Outlook for Desktop program and Outlook for Web.

How to Share Calendar in Outlook for Desktop

Press the Windows key to open the Start menu and search for Outlook to launch the app.

Select the calendar icon in the bottom-left or top-left corner to access your calendars. From the Home tab, click on the “Share Calendar” drop-down and select “Calendar.”

In the Calendar properties, click the Permissions tab and click “Add” to add a trusted colleague that can help you manage your calendar when you are not available.

In the Add User page, search for the user and click Add, then click Ok.

How to Share Outlook for Web Calendar with Other People.

Follow the instructions below to share your calendar with others.

Go to Outlook.com and log in to your account. Click the Calendar icon in the navigation window and choose Share from the menu.

Type in the email address of the person with whom you want to share your calendar, and choose the level of access you want the individual to have to the shared calendar. When you’re done, click the “Share” button.

How to remove sharing permission

Follow the steps below to modify a shared permission or delete the shared permission entirely.

To open the shared calendar, click the “Share calendar” icon.
