This guide shows you how to add WhatsApp UWP on Windows 11. WhatsApp is one of the most widely used applications in the world right now and is readily available on any mobile device. WhatsApp is not just a chat and instant messaging app that is designed only to run on Android phones and iPhones but can be installed on a PC and run as a desktop application. There is a client version for Windows 11 and if you want to know how to download and install it on your Windows 11 system then this guide is for you. This desktop version is better in many ways than the web version. In this guide, I will be showing you how to download WhatsApp for Windows 11 from Microsoft Store. I will also show you how to install and configure your computer with your Phone. Below is a YouTube video on how to add WhatsApp UWP on Windows 11.

The Microsoft Store is integrated into the Windows 11 operating system and can be used to install WhatsApp. This way you don’t have to go to the official website online to download the app.

Windows 10 introduced the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), which provides a common app platform on every device that runs Windows.

Step 1: Open Windows and Click on Search Icon

Follow these steps on how to download and install WhatsApp on your Windows 11 system which is as easy as searching for a file on your system. Open your Windows 11 system and click on the Search icon.

Step 2: Open the Microsoft store

In the next page enter and click on Microsoft Store.

Step 3: Install WhatsApp Desktop

Click on WhatsApp Desktop and go ahead to install the application.

Step 4: Link Device

After installation, you will see a QR Code. What you need to do is to open the WhatsApp on your phone and click the three dots at the top right.

Then select Linked devices and scan the QR code. If the scan is successful then your WhatsApp account will be linked to your Windows 11 system and you will be able to chat directly from your computer and will sync with your phone device.
