Note: The AWS CLI must simply be configured on your local workstation by downloading it from AWS.

For a seamless experience with AWS CLI in Windows, begin by uninstalling it via the Control Panel’s Programs and Features section. Select the AWS Command Line Interface entry and click Uninstall to launch the uninstaller. Confirm that you wish to uninstall the AWS CLI when prompted.

Remove AWS CLI

You can also launch the Programs and Features menu from the command line with the following command:

appwiz.cpl

Search for the AWS CLI program and uninstall it.
