In this article, we shall discuss how to Fix VirtualBox Virtual Machine Encountered a Non-Fatal problem. Oracle VM VirtualBox is a free and open-source hosted hypervisor for x86 virtualization, developed by Oracle Corporation. Created by Innotek, it was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2008. Which was in turn acquired by Oracle in 2010. Fix Virtual Machine Non-fatal Issue Prevention

Furthermore, When faced with the problem below. “The virtual machine ran into a non-fatal problem as described below, we suggest that you take appropriate action to prevent the problem from recurring”.

To ascertain what the problem really is. It is advisable to click on the details button as shown above to reveal the actual issue. However, as it is right now, the problem is ambiguous.

As you can see above, this simply means the shared folder path on my device no longer exists and this is true because I recently modified the path name.

To fix this issue, launch the shared folder window and change the path to the OS as shown below

Use the drop down menu and select the right folder path as shown below
