How to install new fonts in Microsoft Office

Adding and customizing fonts in your Office documents and spreadsheets can help make your text stand out and enhance the visual appeal of your work. While Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook come with a selection of pre-installed fonts, there may be times when you need to install new fonts to achieve the desired look. However, the process of installing fonts is not directly available within the Office apps themselves. Instead, you need to download and install font files on your Windows 11 or 10 operating system to make them accessible across all your Office apps, whether you’re using a Microsoft 365 subscription, the standalone Office 2021 or 2019 versions, or an older Office version.
